Many thoughtful people spend a lot of time in their heads. They are analyzing, reflecting, and trying to understand themselves and their relationships. But despite that awareness, it's easy to feel stuck in patterns that are hard to change, caught in overthinking, anxiety, or frustration in relationships.

I provide mental health counselling for individuals and couples in Vancouver and across British Columbia. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with are trying to manage stress, make sense of difficult emotions, or move forward from patterns that no longer feel helpful.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked as a teacher and software engineer. While those careers were rewarding, I found myself drawn to something deeper: the human need for connection, understanding, and growth. Through my own healing journey, I discovered how powerful compassion and awareness can be in changing how we see ourselves and others.

My approach is trauma-informed and evidence-based, integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you better understand your inner world, build practical skills, and create meaningful change. Therapy with me is collaborative and focused. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, with space for both reflection and action.
